To schedule an appointment, please call our office in advance at 570-668-0180. You will need to give us your name and the reason for your call so we can schedule the appropriate amount of time for your care. If you are calling because of an acute illness that requires prompt attention, we will schedule you for the next available appointment. Our office hours are:
- Monday: 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:00am – 8:00pm
- Wednesday: 7:00am – 6:00pm, 7:00am – 8:00pm (Every other week)
- Thursday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 11:00am
In addition, our lab is open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 1 pm. Test results will be discussed with you in the strictest confidence, typically within 48 hours. In some cases, a follow-up visit will be scheduled for the interpretation of the test results.
If you ever need to cancel an appointment, please call the office as soon as possible. We ask that you give 24-hours notice of cancellation so that we can offer the appointment time to another patient.
After-Hours Calls and Emergencies
Should you have an emergency after hours or the weekend, please call the office at 570-668-0180. Leave a message with our answering service and they will make sure the physician on call returns your call as soon as possible.
For life-threatening emergencies, please dial 911. The hospital physicians will then contact us.
Payment is due at the time of the office visit. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card. Co-payments are not billable and are due at the time of service.
Medication Refills or Samples
We are happy to respond to your request for medication refills or samples. Please allow 24 hours for these to be completed. Please check your supply of medication during the week to avoid running out. Some medications will not be refilled by the on-call physician. When calling please be prepared to give the following information:
- Patient’s name
- Medication name
- Name of your pharmacy and its telephone number.
